What will this webinar cover?
Are you looking for practical ways to improve outcomes for newcomers—without spending hours sifting through the research to find what works? When serving newcomers, practitioners often do not have the time or resources to find relevant evidence-based interventions aimed at improving client outcomes. To help bridge this gap, Switchboard offers personalized technical assistance alongside evidence summaries to support the integration of evidence-based practices (EBPs) into existing service delivery. This webinar will introduce the principles of evidence-based practice and will explore how to interpret and apply relevant research and tailor interventions to meet newcomers’ needs. Participants will learn to define evidence-based interventions, how to apply EBP through a case study and Q&A session, and design a plan to integrate EBPs into programming.
Is this webinar for me?
This webinar is designed for newcomer service providers who want to strengthen their services by applying evidence from published research. This session will also be valuable for researchers looking to bridge the gap between research and practice to make their findings more accessible and actionable for frontline practitioners, ultimately improving client outcomes.
