Refugee and newcomer students experience high rates of bullying and may not understand how to effectively manage these situations, which could lead to social isolation, stress, and even behavior shifts where they bully others. This webinar will focus on supporting refugee students who are displaying bullying behaviors or are being bullied, while highlighting how bullying may appear different among newcomer populations. Participants will also learn about the various roles in bullying situations and the importance of using a strengths-based approach in bullying prevention and response.
