What will this webinar cover?

For clients with a preferred language other than English (PLOE), language is often a significant barrier to receiving quality health care. Health care access and delivery, as well as health outcomes, can be negatively impacted. This webinar will explore how organizations in three locations in the U.S. leverage community health workers (CHWs) and patient navigators to support PLOE communities in accessing health care. Each presenter will highlight a unique model, including strategies and approaches that are responsive to client needs, connections to public health initiatives, and bridging community gaps. Participants will have the opportunity to apply their learning and grapple with authentic case studies to reflect on how similar approaches could work in their own settings.

Is this webinar for me?

This webinar is intended for all levels of staff that identify as health care professionals, public health practitioners, program leaders, or staff from community-based organizations who work with or support PLOE communities.
