What will this webinar cover?
This webinar will provide an overview of community advisory boards and the role they can play in mental health service delivery for refugees and other newcomers. Speakers will review the advantages and challenges of using CABs, their structure and scope, and the CAB recruitment process. You will have the opportunity to gain insights directly from individuals who served on a CAB to improve family-based mental health services for Somali Bantu and Bhutanese refugee communities. They will share their experiences, lessons learned, and advice for forming and collaborating with CABs to improve services for newcomers.
