Immigration Legal Services for Afghan Arrivals (ILSAA) Request Deadline

Immigration Legal Services for Afghan Arrivals (ILSAA) is a federally funded project, and their funding is available for a limited time. They will stop accepting requests for legal services after midnight on September 29, 2024.

Eligible Afghans who need legal immigration services should call ILSAA at 833-286-0864 or email ILSAAinfo@icf.com with their name, phone number, and primary language preference before September 29, 2024.

Afghans eligible for ILSAA include those who were evacuated under Operation Allies Welcome and Operation Allies rescue, Afghan humanitarian parolees, unaccompanied Afghan minors, those who traveled to the U.S. on a special Immigrant Visa (SIV), and others as defined in ORR Policy Letter 22-01.

To mitigate impact to vulnerable populations, we are asking that you:

Include the above messaging in any relevant newsletters or correspondence.

We particularly need your help reaching the following populations:
Unaccompanied minors
Individuals with
o   Pending SIV applications
o   Disabilities
o   Added cultural and literacy barriers.
