Building Successful Futures: Empowering Newcomer Adolescents & Emerging Adults

Join us for an upcoming training workshop presented by USCRI’s Refugee Youth Resource Center!

This 1.5-hour training is intended for service providers working with refugee and other ORR-eligible youth, including resettlement agencies, child welfare, schools, health/mental health providers, anti-trafficking organizations, and others.

By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:
• Identify the common challenges and cultural considerations newcomer youth navigate in transition to adulthood
• Understand how to help prepare newcomer youth and young adults to make decisions about their own future, set goals, and navigate systems in their community
• Support newcomer youth in developing life skills and identifying resources in preparation for independent living
