In partnership with leaders across the Welcoming Economies network, Welcoming America and Global Detroit’s E Pluribus Initiative are proud to present this three-part discussion series focused on supporting immigrant-inclusive economic development in a rapidly shifting landscape.

Grounded in the understanding that local economies are strongest when they fully include immigrant talent and entrepreneurship, this series brings practitioners together to share data, strategies, and real-time responses to today’s challenges.

Participants will explore how communities are adapting to increased enforcement pressures, supporting immigrant entrepreneurs and workers, and strengthening local systems to remain resilient and inclusive. Sessions will blend data, practitioner insight, and practical tools to help leaders take action in their own communities.

SESSION 1
Wednesday, June 17
Data and Strategies for Immigrant Business Owners: Narrative Change & Inclusion

This session will help participants translate data into action—strengthening both local economic development efforts and the broader narrative around immigrant contributions.

SESSION 2
Wednesday, July 15
Welcoming Economies 101: Inclusive Communities for Resilience & Growth

Rooted in the understanding that immigrant inclusion strengthens economies and builds more vibrant communities, this session will help connect the “why” to the “how.”

SESSION 3
Wednesday, September 23
Amid Enforcement Pressures: Supporting Businesses & Communities

This session focuses on real-time challenges communities, small businesses, and employers face amid increased immigration enforcement—and the practical, community-driven strategies emerging in response.

Your single registration provides access to all 90-minute sessions in the series—no need to register individually. Participants will receive reminders, resources, and recordings for each session.

We hope you will join us for these timely and solution-oriented conversations.
